Brain entirely in sysadmin mode for the past couple of days, plus setting up new accounting software for a new FY, and finding GnuCash usefully manual-clutch, but un-usefully lacking in time tracking features.

Anyone have suggestions of accounting software other than GnuCash and QuickBooks that can do full business-style accounts in multiple currencies and has time tracking and/or project management modules? Brass ring goes to GPL/OSS, but it has to be stable.

I also know I've been neglecting my photo shoots, but I've taken that time gardening and processing. So here is a compromise salad to keep you company. I love this time of the year, when what's fresh looks like Monet had a hand in the assembly.

Oh, yes, ingredients: "Freckles" lettuce, red and yellow tomatoes, two kinds of cucumber, blanched green beans and kohlrabi slices, new carrot, steamed fingerling potatoes, and eggs from a chicken that has fed upon the lush, green grass (and lots o' bugs, too—in the grass, that is, not in the salad).
