1. Frozen two gallons of raspberries and eight of blueberries, two quarts of beet saag aloo, four quarts of chard gratin (the chard grown with our own little hands!) in small freezer-to-oven trays. Lots more chard in the plot.
2. I've been targeted by so much PRC malware this week that all my google ads are in Chinese!
3. Carrots and Tomatoes and Cucumbers all at once? Time for Gazpacho!
4. Introduced two people to Tanqueray-Gooseberry daquiries. They were very well disposed towards same, thank you very much.
5. Took MIL to the Lake on the Mountain Inn for her 81st birthday. Her conclusion: Eighty isn't bad, because it's exciting and you've made it to eighty. Eighty one is awful, because it's just old.
6. Neice-with-super-ninja-haircuttery-skilz came over and removed my ponytail of sixteen years. I now resemble an aging member of Tears for Fears, which is to say, goofy and rather strange. DEWISOTT.
7. I have done more driving in the past two days than I've done all year to date. This is not a joyous thing.
8. Still have not caught up with my chapter for Wednesday. But I do have the outline. Which is akin to telling you teacher that you thought about your homework very hard, but didn't get around to doing it. Dreams largely of a broken-edges-around-the-seam-of-reality nature, which means the chapter is percolating happily, like a chicory brand of coffee, headed strongly towards the dark.
