We are the Neighbours, the Nosy Neighbours

Invented a new term today: Bonsai Coppicing. This is when you pull up an unwanted tree shoot for years and years, always failing to get the full root. When it's a maple, especially a Manitoba maple, it doesn't seem to matter. It will re-shoot and start again.

Since cutting back the Juniper bushes last month, I've been able to get to the roots of many of my bonsai coppices. Some were over half an inch thick and over ten years old, but still sporting tiny twig-trees every couple of months. I'd been pulling them ineffectively for over a decade now.
